Hard Venon

Medusa

Another hot summer's night and Medusa held
The whole world in her hand.
A woman of such beauty with long silky hair
Shines bright in the candlelight.
Boasting and shouting, her beauty unsurpassed
Even by the mighty Gods.
On this hot summer's night, Medusa's world
Would crumble out of sight.

A head full of snakes was the price that she paid
No one would dare look into those eyes.
A head full of snakes for one small mistake,
What a price to pay...

That night in the temple she was ravished by
The Sea-God Neptune.
The Goddess Athena was angered, had to punish her
For this evil act.
In a flash of lightning her beautiful silky hair
Was replaced with slithering snakes.
No more would she look into the eyes of another man
For the rest of her days...

A head full of snakes was the price that she paid
No one would dare look into those eyes.
A head full of snakes for one small mistake,
What a price to pay...

Never again would she look upon another face again,
Because one look and they'd be turned into stone.

A head full of snakes was the price that she paid
No one would dare look into those eyes.
A head full of snakes for one small mistake,
What a price to pay...
